EPC VS. COVID-19

We are so happy to have our doors open again to our existing members and new members! We would like to let you know that we are doing our absolute best to keep everyone safe while in our facility.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE

  • Cardio equipment has been rearranged to allow for social distancing

  • Workout areas for bootcamps and squat racks have been assigned with tape on the floor

  • Everything has been disinfected using our NEW state of the art fogging machine (which uses 100% natural product), including used equipment, washrooms, showers and lockers

  • Between each training session, the facility will be closed for 15 minutes to allow for staff to fog all used equipment

  • All bootcamp equipment will be disinfected with the fogger after every class

  • We have implemented a magnet system to identify which equipment has been used so that staff fog it during cleaning periods

  • Staff have been educated about our procedures and proper cleaning techniques

  • Front desk staff will wear masks when interacting with members

  • We have increased the number of hand sanitizing stations and spray bottles for equipment to be wiped down after each use

  • Each member will get a clean towel when they enter the facility to clean all of their equipment and can place the used towel at the end their training session in the used towel hamper when finished

NEW GYM RULES

​WE WILL HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY WHEN IT COMES TO THESE RULES, SO PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!

  • Members MUST sign in online via the Mindbody App or Webpage when they want to come in and train. Training sessions are 75-minutes

  • Members will be prompted to answer a COVID-19 screening questionnaire in the confirmation email upon booking

  • All members will wait outside, socially distant from one another, before being allowed to come in for their booked training session during office hours

  • Members MUST wear a mask upon entry until they have reached their training area, then the mask may be removed, if they choose to do so

  • Masks must be kept on your person at all times in the event social distancing (6ft or 2m) is not possible, or you need to enter the hallway to access washrooms, showers, or talk to staff in the office

  • All members will remain socially distant (6ft or 2m) from one another when possible, and a mask MUST be worn when not possible

  • Members are REQUIRED to clean every piece of equipment they touch

  • Members will be notified when training sessions have ended, please make sure all equipment used has been cleaned and leave promptly

  • EPC magnets will be available throughout the gym to mark ALL equipment that you have used

  • Magnets will signify to staff which equipment needs to be disinfected with the fogger during cleaning periods

  • Showers are OPEN. However, if you wish to use the shower you must account for that time during your 75-minute session. You will not be allowed to shower during cleaning periods

  • Children will NOT be allowed to accompany a parent during training sessions or bootcamps

  • No food or eating is allowed in the gym at any time

  • The water bottle fill station is available for use at your own discretion

  • The turf area will be for sled-use only. Stretching and rolling out is to be done on the black matted floor or blue exercise mats

  • There will be no access to chalk (the chalk monster needed a break...)

  • Please be aware that if you book a spot and do not show, a cancellation fee may apply

HOW DO I BOOK A TRAINING SESSION OR BOOTCAMP?

  • Download the Mindbody App or visit the Mindbody website

  • Create an account

  • Search for "Elite Performance Center", view the schedule

  • Selecting a training session or bootcamp and "book"

  • There will be training sessions available 24 hours a day with specific booking types from 9:00am to 9:00pm. These booking types include "Open Gym" and "Open Gym With Rack". Please choose accordingly

  • If you have answered "Yes" to any of the COVID-19 screening questions you may not book a session or enter the facility

  • Once you have booked you will receive an email confirmation as well as a reminder and please fill out the COVID-19 screening questionnaire attached in those emails

  • On the Mindbody App:

    • Profile​ (bottom right of the screen)

    • Settings (little gear icon, top right of the screen)

    • "Resend confirmation email"

  • Open your inbox

    • Click the link in the email "Search for a business"

    • Type "Elite Performance Center" 

    • Click our facility

    • Enter login information

    • Sign in

  • In Mindbody App, you should be able to book now! If not... please feel free to call us or send us an email, or visit the office during office hours

  • Drop-in/day passes are available for purchase through Mindbody

  • We are accepting new members! Give us a call or stop by during office hours to receive a tour of our facility and learn about rates
